A thief reportedly broke into Paris Hilton's Beverly Hill home and made off with $2 million in jewelry early Friday.
Hilton was not home during the early morning burglary, said Richard French, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
The burglary as reported by a security guard at Hilton's gated Los Angeles community, French said.
Hilton recently told Esquire magazine: "The best thing I've ever bought with money is my house. Having a nightclub in your house really helps for having a party."
